In case you’ve been living in a bomb shelter and haven’t heard, gas prices are continuing to rise. This unfortunate phenomenon isn’t likely to go away any time soon, and it is affecting the auto industry, including car shipping companies. With the increased cost of diesel, overland car shippers are being forced to raise prices and become route-dependent.

For the most part, the prices will remain somewhat fixed along major Interstate routes.  The prominent price increase will come at the expense of those in rural areas far from major freeways.  This shouldn’t stop you from having your car shipped (after all your individual costs are rising at the same rate), however it should cause you to pause when considering your instant price quote options.
